There is rc148 (based on rc148_9) we are going to share to wide trial on this Friday, February 21st, at around 17:00 UTC if there is not major bugs reported.

Due to recently broken Hamlib Icom CAT functionality we have decided to build JTDX rc148 with Hamblib v20200123, the same version used for rc147 builds.
 
As ALLCALL.TXT callsign list being used in rc147 and older JTDX versions is out of date we recommend to upgrade JTDX to version rc148 to avoid blocking of some correctly decoded messages as false ones.

We have got several reports on unstable Icom CAT functionality under Hamlib v20200115, for this reason there are builds made with Hamlib v20200123 with _oldh suffix.

There is rc148_6, changelog:
- upon accepting configuration settings JTDX shall retain current VFO frequency if it matches to frequency in the list, else shall set main mode&band frequency
- preliminary changes towards 7-char callsigns usage in ALLCALL7.TXT to support 7-char Australian callsigns and faster callsign search via block data access
- patch for counters when doubleclicked on call which is not in history (no CQ or 73 like messages received from this callsign), first counter did not work in such scenario

There is rc148_4, changelog:
- main band frequencies can be deleted by user, 'reset frequency list' will recover default frequencies
- patch to recover decoding time on the first decoding cycle: signals shall not be subtracted on third decoding pass if single decoding cycle being used
- automatic FT8 decoder thread selection shall spare one thread to other tasks if CPU has 3 or more logical cores
- FT8 decoder AP masks related code cleanup

There is one thread less being used now in automatic mode in FT8 decoder. To bring back decoding time user can select manually number of threads equal to number of logical cores in system, if sure that this value provides flawless JTDX functionality in his/her setup.

There is rc148_3, changelog:
 
- main frequencies introduced, marked in frequency list by asterisk. At band change JTDX will be selecting main frequency rather than Fox frequency.
Some frequently used DXpedition frequencies added as default values in the frequency list. Main frequencies can not be deleted.
- deleted six-pass SWL option in FT8 decoder
- implemented up to 3 cycles of FT8 decoder (six-pass SWL mode was two cycle decoding), one cycle by default, two or three cycles can be activated independently for operation and SWL modes.
  Withdrawn multicycle FT8 decoding dependency on number of running JTDX instances. Still there shall be more than 3 threads used in FT8 decoder to get multicyle decoding active in SWL mode, probably we will add this criterion out of SWL mode in next versions.
- Hint button shall be switched on by default value

There is rc148_2, changelog:
- patch to possible marker misalignment in TX frequency window triggered at double click on message
- prevent calling on Fox frequency when user resuming TX after three unsuccessful TX attempts
- added optional broadcast of logged QSO ADIF to secondary UDP server, controls are in 'Reporting' tab of configuration settings, same message format as in WSJT-X is used
- patch to 'Logged ADIF' UDP message addressed to primary UDP server
- 'Logged ADIF' UDP message adressed to primary UDP server has been moved to option, can be activated in 'Reporting' tab of configuration settings

There is rc148_1, changelog:
- one more attempt to eliminate 'CQ DE AA00' false FT8 decode, it is likely coming from OSD decoder with AP mask
- patch to prevent deadlock of FT8 decoder in SWL 6-pass mode
- reordered launching of threads in FT8 decoder
- minor changes to Spt/Menu controls view, reversed broken Pwr slider appearance
- 'fusion' is set as default JTDX style, any -style key in JTDX launching shortcut will switch 'fusion' style off
- crossband 160m band operation with Japan is moved to option for all scenarios but EU-JA QSO, by default crossband is enabled, can be switched off in Misc tab of main window UI
- added 'Logged ADIF' UDP message with the same format as in WSJT-X. This message is alternative one to earler implemeted TCP message, UDP message will be sent if TCP connection option is disabled in configuration settings.
